How long will it take for my photos to be ready?

Typically, it will take 2 weeks to get your photos completed and returned back to you. This time does vary by season so depending on when your session is completed you could get your gallery earlier. September and October are the busiest months.

Will you help us with our wardrobe choices?

Yes! If you are having trouble deciding what direction to go with wardrobe please let me know and we can work together to figure out what will work best for your session location, family dynamics and desired results.

Do I have to order prints from you?

No! Once your photos are completed you will received a link to your private gallery containing your high resolution images. From there you can download your images. NO additional purchases are required.

Can I order prints/photobooks/canvas directly from you?

Yes! If you would like to order directly from your gallery that is always an option. I work directly with a local printer who uses the highest quality paper and ink. The colors have been calibrated with my computer to ensure the images look exactly as intended when you get them back from the lab.

How many photos will I receive?

The number of edited photos you receive depends on your unique experience. Every session is a little different so though I have a minimum number of photos I can guarantee I can’t give you an exact count. Every time you do a session with me your gallery will have a different amount of photos and there are many contributing factors.

What is your policy on rescheduling?

I ask that all families give me at least a 24 hour notice if they have to reschedule for any reason. Obviously, if your child is sick that is an exception. I will contact you directly for any weather based cancellations. Cloudy skies are actually amazing and provide a perfect soft box for our session. .

Do you edit all your photos?

Yes. I do edit all my photos. This includes color correction, some blemish removal, skin softening and general clean up. This does not include changing the physical shape or features. Please inquire if you have special editing requests to make sure they are covered in your session fee. Additional costs may apply.

Do you have suggestions for sessions with young kids?

I am a mom and I totally get it! honestly, we aren’t aiming for perfection but little things can make a big difference.

• Focus on having fun! Photo Sessions don’t have to be hard. think of this more as a play date.

• try to plan your session around nap times. I know this can be difficult but it also is very important in making sure we have a successful experience.

• bring incentives to keep the kids motivated. Treats like gummy bears, Cheerios, puffs, melts and marshmallows are easy for them to eat and also don’t leave behind messy faces, teeth or hands.

• a favorite toy, book, blanket, activity, or stuffed animal can help ease anxiety.

• create a playlist ~ Find songs that make your little human happy and have them ready on your phone. Familiar songs can create a more relaxed environment.

• plan a fun activity ( ice cream, park date) for after the session

• bring wipes and a change of clothing just in case. kids can be active and messy! Spills and falls happen and we don’t want that to be the reason we have to end our session.

• make sure your kids are comfortable. don’t force them into wearing clothes that they don’t like or aren’t used to wearing. especially new shoes!

• patience is the key to success. Everyone has good days and bad days, Kids are no exceptions and they can sense our energy. Managing expectations and staying positive will help things go soothly. sometimes a little extra time is needed to get comfortable,
